up or down

I was just thinking....why do we say "I'm up for anything" and then when a plan is made we say, "I'm down." It doesn't actually make any sense.

i really really (like really really) should be studying but i just wanted to say real quick that i love my parents and i can't wait to see them. i just called my dad to talk about my grades and i told him that some of them won't be very good and he was like how is that possible? he has so much faith in me :) then i told him that i would probably get the lower end of the grades that i thought i would get and he told me it was ok because after tomorrow i'll be done and it doesn't matter. parents are so great. especially mine. k back to the books!

Day 7

STRANDED ON A ISLAND- who are you with and what 10 things would you bring?

1. I would bring supplies to build a fantastic tree house. Just like in Swiss Family Robinson or whatever that movie is. They had a sweet house. I have always wanted one.
2. Book of Mormon
3. Lots of good music
4. Really great food to last a long long time.
5. Facebook
6. Hannah Montanna Season 4
7. Good shoes
8. Lots of shampoo
9. A swimsuit or two. If I am going to be next to a beautiful ocean, I am not going in my clothes.
10. Sunscreen. If I am stranded on an island i am not going to die from a bad sunburn.

As far as "who" goes, I would bring my family and make them live in their own hut. Then me and Karen would live in next door huts with our extremely good looking husbands. I would also bring my brynnie, katy and haley annnddd my other girls (Kels, jo and britt). Basically we will have an island front with gorgeous husbands!

Miss Kelsey Ann

So right here is one of my best friends Kelsey Thompson. Today is her birthday. We are born exactly 5 months apart. Pretty cool, I know. So Kelsey is no longer a teenager so I feel like I can't really be immature in what I post about her except for the picture ;)

Kelsey is probably the sweetest person I know. She is extremely caring and kind. She was a friend to me last year when she didn't have to be. She is always there for me if I need her. I am sad that we don't live closer because I really miss seeing her every day and stumbling up the stairs into her room.

Kelsey is extremely cute! She always wears her heels and dresses. Her hair is always perfect too. I hate her sometimes for how cute she always looks.

Kelsey is my temple buddy. I love going with her because we always have deep discussions and her spirit is so special.

Kelsey is also very talented. She has an eye for interior design. Her apartment is sooo cute. I am so jealous. She is going to be a very talented designer one day....even though she already is haha

Kelsey is one of the most thoughtful people I know. When she asks how you're doing or feeling, you can tell that she sincerely means it.

Kelsey is easy to relate to. She always knows just what or what not to say. She's one wise little woman.

Basically I love her to death and I hope that she has the best 20th ever because she deserves that and so much more. I LOVE YOU KELSEYYYY!!!

Day 6

A PICTURE THAT MAKES YOU HAPPY



This picture has been my go to picture for a while. It's the picture that makes me feel best when I'm in a bad mood. How can you not feel shear joy when looking at this picture?! A family finally reunited and there is just so much love here I feel awkward almost looking at it haha. I loved that moment we finally got to see Adam in person though. We are all so happy in this picture, I would give anything to be back in that moment.

So I am a little on edge right now because it has been kinda a super annoying day. I had to get a new battery for my car and that means I cost my parents 100 dollars. I also will probably have to get a new battery for my computer that decided to poop out a few days ago...just my luck. After Steele put in the new battery I was freezing from standing outside so I wanted to put my feet in the bath and just drink hot cocoa and watch vampire diaries. Well I made my hot chocolate put it in the cup, cleaned out the cocolatte machine and THEN when I go to put it back I totally spilled my entire mug all ove the counter. Vampire Diaries wouldn't load but then it finally did when I was making my second cup/cleaning up my mess. It plays for 12 minutes and then decides to not work anymore. WHAT THE HECK?! I think someone is out to get me. On the brightside Karen will be over shortly and then we're going to do some studying. Woot. Ok so that's all the bad....here are the good things that happened today.

I went to a helpful math review and it made me more excited than scared to take my final, so that's good.
I cleaned my room and it looks real pretty.
I am having a somewhat good hair day.
I am listening to Brynn's ipod since all my music is on my computer and random scripture mastery songs keep coming on and it is making me laugh.
I have a full cup of good Stephen's.
My toes aren't cold anymore.
My apartment is empty so I get to be alone.
I almost got that fly that just flew by my face.
I will be home in 6 days.
I am confident my car will be able to survive and get me safely home.
I have really wonderful friends who are always willing to help me.
I have a fantastic family.
I just made an alliteration.

DAY 5

SOMEONE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SWTICH LIVES WITH
Ok so I am aware that I am a few days behind. But I am not in the mood to play catch up so this is as good as it's going to get!

If I could switch lives with any person for a day I would pick one of two.

The first would be a kindergartner. I just want to go back to that time when I truly believed the world was good and safe. I loved being so innocent and naiive. I loved riding my bike up and down the street for hours and playing Barbies and only going to school for 3 hours a day. I think that's the best part. I would just like that childhood ecstasy back for one day.

The second would be a missionary. I used to always want to serve a mission but now I just don't think it is in the cards for me. I would love that experience though. To spend all my time devoted to the Lord and only thinking about others. I think it would be interesting.
