Everyone's gonna love today

My day today has been kinda random. I didn't go into work, yet again for horrific reasons I rather not discuss. My boss wanted to know if I was pregnant. Bah. That's a weird thing to ask right? Ya I thought so. For the record I am not pregnant. After that weird morning I watched some much needed television. Then I started my Pinterest binge. Being home all day gets me really excited about moving into our new place in Provo. I just want a space that is all mine with all of my things. My taste and style. No more creepy Jesus pictures and blankets that are too small. Oh and can I just say how stoked I am to have a microwave?! Super.

During my Pinterest party I found a cute outfit. I thought hey I have those articles of clothing. So here is the Pinterest outfit:

and here is my imitation:

After I got cute for the day I ran to CVS to get razors. I finally caved after using the same one for probably 3 months. Yes I know that is totally gross. Judge me all you want. I also bought a new journal. I have a tradition. I dedicate each of my journals to a person. The last one was dedicated to Rhett. I just so happened to fill it last night. The night before our 1 year mark. I can't wait for the many to come. He put me through a whirlwind but I couldn't love him more.

So I got this really cute journal and I thought of the perfect person to dedicate it to. I am dedicating this journal to my future child. Little Liv. Yes I know that it is creepy. BUT I do have a good reason. I love hearing stories of my parents when they were newlyweds, and I always wished I had a book of their memories and advice to turn to. So I decided that this first year of marriage can be dedicated to my future daughter. (banking on the fact that I am not cursed with all boys!) I am already so excited to fill its pages. I put in tickets from different places we've been too and wrote a little about them. It's so fun! Here is a pic of the cute journal.

After I wrote int he journal I watched Made of Honor. It was kinda naughty at some parts but pretty cute and funny. I give it a B-. It has Patrick Dempsy so ya.

Currently I am waiting for my love to return from work so we can go celebrate our anniversary. What a fun day! Happy Anniversary Rhettly. I love you more than peaches!

Pat Says

Patrick and Gavin pretend to hate when I sing songs about what we're doing and about them. Secretly I know they love it. I was singing a song about Patrick while we were doing a puzzle. I said he's so full of romance. For some reason he thought this meant that his pants were full of romance?? He starts cracking up. And then like 10 minutes later he goes that was funny when you said my pants are full of romance. Then he tells me, "YOUR PANTS ARE FULL OF ROMANCE!" I think it's funny to me for different reasons than it is funny to him.

Well lucky me since I started this singing what we're doing tradition, Gavin decides to pitch in. He starts singing to me, "eat your underwear" to the tune of hot cross buns. Pat says, "I've done that. They taste pretty good." I say, "You ate my undies?!" He says he has eaten his too. I asked him what they taste like and he says very nonchalant, "tastes like salty candy. Salty candy."

A few days later I was looking at a book of famous pictures from LIFE magazine. Pat climbs up next to me and sees a picture of soldiers telling people to leave their homes. He asks me, "Is this what's happening in Syria?" Me, not expecting him to ask that, give him a look like huh? he then says, "the Syrian government is killing their own people." Then he went back to looking at his book.

I think my favorite thing is he has no idea how hilarious he is. He is one smart cookie.
