Day 3-A picture of the cast from your favorite show

Lost is the best show to ever come to television. Period. If you argue with that statement....well you can't. If you don't like it, you're probably not smart enough to handle it. It's pure genius. It wasn't until the last season that I realized this show is not about an island but about people. The love that I developed for each individual character over the 6 years proves the phenomenal writing of this show. I love this show with all my heart.

Day 2-A picture of the person you've been closest to longest

There's not much to say besides that I am so glad Caitlin is my sister.

all the keys in the world

So my mother sent me this picture last night of my glory days. Ever since I came to college one of the things I have missed most is piano lessons. Strange I know. I know I do not have a natural ability when it comes to the piano. I can't sit down and compose nor can I tell you even how to do that. But what I do know is that the piano has been one of the greatest blessings in my life. Last year I was the RS pianist so I had a reason to play and practice all the time. Now playing the piano has become a rarity. It makes me sad. I feel like I forget that I know how to play it. When I do remember though I am always upset because the piano that I can play is a piece of crap. The piano does not deserve the honor of Debussy or Mozart. It just doesn't. So I am just missing those days where I could sit down and play a good piano whenever I wanted.
I found this picture of these very broken piano keys. I really like it. I think there is a lot to the piano. More than just sounds and notes. It's every emotion you feel and that you can share. It's the hope you have or what you wish you had. It's peace. It's solace. It's a healing for the broken. Which is why I like this picture. Sometimes I feel like this piano. The thing is that this piano can still play. It can still create. And really it's so beautiful. If not the most beautiful, for it has been worn out in love and passion and talent.
That's what I love most about the piano. In every mistake and sound, eventually comes perfection. So gorgeous.
